VSBA at GSI Partners Quarterly Meeting

Please join VSBA’s Seth Cohen and other project team members for a presentation of our South Philadelphia Community Health and Literacy Center at the GSI Partners Quarterly Meeting. They’ll be talking about the project’s public / private nature and how it can serve as a model for other neighborhoods and communities.

VSBA Project Wins ULI Award for Excellence

We won! VSBA’s South Philadelphia Community Health and Literacy Center won the ULI Philadelphia‘s Willard G. “Bill” Rouse Award for Excellence! Our project was one of seven winners. Congratulations to everyone on the team and thank you, ULI!

The South Philadelphia Community Health and Literacy Center has been named as a finalist in the Urban Land Institute’s Awards for Excellence!
The new building— housing health care facilities for both the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and City of Philadelphia, as well as a city branch library and recreation center — is one of 14 finalists.
Winners will be announced June 14, 2017 at the Ballroom at the Ben. If you’re interested in attending the ceremony, go to philadelphia.uli.org.

Here’s your chance to tour the new South Philadelphia Community Health and Literacy Center! — a joint venture by The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the City of Philadelphia.
As part of this year’s DesignPhiladelphia, VSBA architects Dan McCoubrey and Seth Cohen will be giving a tour of the building on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
