Nancy Rogo Trainer
AIA, AICP, LEED® AP, Principal

Since joining Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates in 1987, Nancy Rogo Trainer has provided planning and design services for academic and cultural institutions. Her projects include campus plans, museums, student centers and libraries -- design that helps build community by integrating social, strategic and physical goals. She's currently Principal-in-Charge for renovation of Harvard Divinity School's Rockefeller Hall, and she's leading campus planning at Haverford College, Villanova University, and Bryn Mawr College.

Ms. Trainer recently served as Principal-in-Charge for renovations to Bryn Mawr College's Campus Center, planning for the Wisconsin Union at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and renovation of Schlesinger Library at Harvard's Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study -- the first increment of a campus plan for the Institute, which Ms. Trainer directed.

Ms. Trainer has also directed master plans for the University of Michigan, Bryn Mawr College, Denver Civic Center Cultural Complex and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Her architectural projects also include the Trabant University Center at the University of Delaware and VSBA's winning competition entry for the extension of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
