Associate
John Izenour has been with Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates since the early 1990s.
Mr. Izenour serves as Project Manager for VSBA's exhibitions and graphics projects. Recently he led the design of a display to be installed at Philadelphia International Airport. His experience also includes coordination of the traveling exhibition, Out of the Ordinary: Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates -- Architecture, Urbanism and Design. This major exhibition of VSBA's work toured the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, and the Carnegie Museum of Art's Heinz Architectural Center in Pittsburgh. He has also curated exhibitions in Philadelphia at Drexel University, The Fabric Workshop, and the FAARM gallery.
Mr. Izenour joined the firm as an intern managing the office's slide and photography collections, drawing archives, and public relations. In that role, he introduced new technologies and expanded the firm's graphics tools and capabilities. Today, he continues this work while coordinating all exhibitions and managing many of our special graphics and computer rendering projects. In addition, he coordinates VSBA's technology resources. In this age of competing hardware, software, and format options, Mr. Izenour works to keep VSBA at the forefront of technological advances.
